Rooms We Love Home Tour

Happy Wednesday everyone! Tammy from Pink Peppermint Design invited me to be part of a room tour this February and I was so excited to say yes! In this home tour you are going to see so much inspiration from some pretty talented bloggers so I hope you check them all out! We are sharing the rooms we love the most and mine right now is definitely my newly finished guest room/boys room because, well it’s actually completely done. We actually did it for the One Room Challenge this past fall. It was totally worth all the work Levi and I put into it. We restained the wood floor, primed by hand, painted, updated the electrical, installed all the trim, made the closet and shelves, and even made a sliding mirror window covering.

I switched out this little nightstand for one Levi and I just completed with Timberchic and I love how it just anchors this side.

I love the change. This is the brightest room in our house and the white walls are awesome because they have no yellow tint to them at all.

The metal basket used as a shelf is still one of my favorite ideas and it’s actually really strong. And I absolutely love the wall lamp from Lampsplus.com

This is the window that has the sliding cover that is a mirror. It’s crazy how well it blocks the sun and our neighbor’s bright lights at night. I’m obsessed with it.

So this is actually a plain metal filing cabinet! We covered with the peel and stick wood and I think it came out SO good. It reminds me of RH if I do say so myself, lol.

Having a real closet made such a huge difference! Everything in the closet we installed and I made a cute header thing for the curtains from a hutch top that I found for $10 and just jazzed it up a bit.

There was so much space behind the door that we were able to fit in these shelves and I’m so glad we did!

This boy sure seems to love it!
