Easy Pumpkin Bread Trifle
This delicious pumpkin trifle is probably the easiest item that will be on your Thanksgiving dinner menu. You can make it early in the day and let it sit until dinner time and the flavors will be perfectly melded. The best part is that you can use store bought pumpkin bread, caramel, and candied pecans. Of course you could use homemade ingredients instead. Super fast and easy to put together but it looks so fancy!
Pumpkin Bread Trifle
Here’s what you need:
2 regular sized pumpkin breads
2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream whipped with 3 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups candied pecans (I used almonds for these pics, but I prefer pecans)
1/2 to 1 cup caramel sauce
1 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
.
In a clear trifle dish or large clear vase:
Cut up pumpkin bread into bite sized cubes and place on bottom of trifle dish.
Scoop whipped cream into large ziplock bag and pipe over pumpkin.
Sprinkle pecans and pomegranates, don’t forget the edges.
Drizzle caramel
Repeat layers. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or serve immediately.
Goes great with hot chocolate or hot apple cider!
